June 8, 2011 – SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, California -- TextPower, a provider of software and text messaging (SMS) gateway services, today announced a technology partnership with Milsoft, an Abilene, TX provider of software solutions for the utility industry, to provide electrical power customers with rapid information services regarding their utility via text messaging services.

June 8, 2011 – SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, California-- TextPower, a provider ofsoftware and text messaging (SMS) gateway services, today announced a technology partnership with Milsoft, an Abilene, TX provider of software solutions for the utility industry, to provide electrical power customers with rapid information services regarding their utility via text messaging services. TextPower and Milsoft will outline the new program at the 2011 Milsoft User’s Conference next week in Westminster, Colorado.

Often power customers are not informed about planned or sudden power outages and can spend a significant amount of time on hold waiting for details about when power restoration is expected. The partnership between TextPower and Milsoft provides a significant upgrade to customer service by allowing Milsoft's utility customers to receive and send immediate text messages about such things as outages, load shedding alerts, delinquencies, appointment scheduling, pending payments and other services offered through Milsoft in its IVR hosted call center using TextPower’s SMS service 24 hours a day.

"Milsoft selected TextPower as our texting gateway service provider based on three major criteria; a proven track record of success, an excellent interface toolbox, and professionalism in customer support," said Ed Carlson, Milsoft's Executive Vice President. "Our 'Milsoft Connections' call center is a hosted subscription service designed to offer utilities the advantage of virtually unlimited capacity in phone lines and broadband, without having to bear the cost of the infrastructure. Whether our customers have mission critical outage reporting or customer service related communication, the capacity to handle virtually unlimited inbound and outbound high volume communication traffic is invaluable to our customers.

"We are very excited about our relationship with TextPower and their texting gateway services that allow us to provide immediate alerts for our customers," Carlson continued.

"TextPower is delighted to partner with Milsoft, a company with an exceptional track record as a technology solution provider to the utility industry," said Mark Nielsen, TextPower's Executive Chairman. "By integrating our text messaging platform with Milsoft, numerous utility companies will be able to reach their customers immediately, wherever they may be, for greatly improved customer service."

TextPower has already shown the value of text messaging for utilities to control peak usage as experienced by one of its clients in the Midwest reducing peak load by large system irrigators almost 64 percent during the summer months. This program resulted in significant cost savings to both the utility and its customers, who adjusted their daily irrigation schedules and power usage based on each morning's alert messages.

TextPower integrates with an organization’s back-office system to create event-triggered alerts that lets senior management decide the criteria so that when something happens or reaches a predetermined threshold, alerts are automatically sent to a mobile or group of cell phones, advising them of the occurrence. To benefit from TextPower’s SmartAlert™ suite of software capabilities, simply add Text Power’s SOAP interface (API) into internal IT systems.

For more information about TextPower's services for utilities or other industries call 818.222.8600 or email Info@TextPower.com. The TextPower web site has a special section for the utilities services described here at http://www.TextPower.com/Utilities.

Milsoft Introduces DisSPatch Mutual Assistance Network to Outage Management Customers

Milsoft is proud to announce the formation of the DisSPatch Mutual Assistance Network (DMAN) for our DisSPatch OMS customers. DMAN provides a platform for our OMS users to join a coalition which provides access to experienced dispatchers who might be available to assist each other during times when power service is disrupted.

ABILENE, Texas - October 22, 2009 - Milsoft is proud to announce the formation of the DisSPatch Mutual Assistance Network (DMAN) for our DisSPatch OMS customers. DMAN provides a platform for our OMS users to join a coalition which provides access to experienced dispatchers who might be available to assist each other during times when power service is disrupted.

Every year destructive storms tear through the country compromising utility service. Utilities are tasked with restoring power as quickly as possible, thereby minimizing the detrimental economic affect that prolonged outages have on communities and businesses. While managing a large outage, the benefit of having ready access to additional, experienced dispatchers would be enormous. DMAN provides Milsoft users with a "go-to" resource by providing information on any available dispatchers who could provide aid during a critical time. In a nut-shell, DMAN provides a way for users to offer each other assistance.

The formation of DMAN was largely the brainchild of Milsoft Advisory Board members. While there are existing channels to ask for assistance with crews, Advisory Board members indicated that there was no resource available to turn to for assistance from experienced DisSPatch users. DMAN fills that role.

While we hope that you will never have to use DMAN to assist in the restoration of power, it is our belief that providing this network will prove invaluable in the event that you should ever need this resource. We will constantly re-evaluate the system and make improvements whenever it makes sense to do so. Milsoft continually seeks advanced ways to offer support for our users with creative hardware and software solutions designed to bring customers real value for their investment in Milsoft products. We are confident that as the grid gets smarter, solutions will too. Know that Milsoft will be right there to bring these smarter solutions to you.

How to Join the DisSPatch Assistance Network

To join DMAN, simply visit www./milsoft.com/smart-grid/mutual-assistance-network, register and then activate your Milsoft online account. After your account information is verified, you will have access to other utilities who could offer available dispatchers. You will also have the ability to post available dispatchers from your utility. Only registered Milsoft users will have access to this network.

HERNDON, VA – (Oct. 20, 2010) – Wireless Matrix (TSX:WRX) announced today that its FleetOutlook® GPS fleet tracking solution and Milsoft DisSPatch Outage Management System have received MultiSpeak® 4.0 Interoperable certification.

The MultiSpeak Initiative is a collaboration of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), utility companies and leading utility market software vendors. Its goal is the development and application of a specification defining standardized interfaces between software applications commonly used by electric utilities. This ensures that different supplier products can interoperate without a need to develop custom interfaces.

HERNDON, VA – (Oct. 20, 2010) – Wireless Matrix (TSX:WRX)</b> announced today that its FleetOutlook&reg; GPS fleet tracking solution and Milsoft DisSPatch Outage Management System have received MultiSpeak&reg; 4.0 Interoperable certification.

“Customers want the ability to select from a variety of best-in-breed solutions to manage their operations, “ said Michael Jakab, vice-president of sales for Wireless Matrix, “and they want them to work together seamlessly. MultiSpeak 4.0 certification for FleetOutlook gives utilities the confidence that if they are already using other MultiSpeak compliant solutions, integration with FleetOutlook can be rapidly accomplished.”

This certification on the latest version of the MultiSpeak standard ensures clear data interoperability between FleetOutlook and the DisSPatch Outage Management System (OMS) from a key Wireless Matrix utility partner, Milsoft Utility Solutions. Through this standard interface, GPS fleet tracking information from FleetOutlook is rapidly accessible by DisSPatch. This allows technician location and status to be used to coordinate outage priorities more safely and efficiently, two keys to timely service restoration.

“Having DisSPatch Outage Management operating with the Wireless Matrix FleetOutlook solution has been a fantastic marriage of technology,” said Ed Carlson, Executive Vice President for Milsoft. “The ability to readily identify and dispatch crews who are geographically close enhances restoration times and crew efficiency, as well as providing a margin of safety and crew awareness from within the dispatch center.”

“Certification under the latest version of the MultiSpeak specification is a testament to the greater ability of FleetOutlook to integrate in a standardized fashion with other leading applications,” said J. Richard Carlson, president and CEO of Wireless Matrix. “FleetOutlook provides utility companies with a superior choice for coordinating their vehicles and tapping into that data with other powerful tools to achieve mission-critical goals.”

	About Wireless Matrix:
Telogis, Inc., the platform for location intelligence, announces that its Telogis Fleet vehicle management solution has achieved MultiSpeak&reg; Version 4 certification for interoperability with Milsoft Utility Solutions' DisSPatch&reg; Outage Management System (OMS). Multispeak certification is a collaboration between the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) and leading software designers that supply the utility market to identify software products that work together without developing extensive or complicated interfaces.<br><br>

By integrating Telogis Fleet with the DisSPatch OMS, utility customers will now visualize real-time location of field resources (both vehicles and assets) within Milsoft&#39;s DisSPatch Client Map. This allows dispatchers to better observe resource status and dispatch the closest technician with the most appropriate resources. It improves operational efficiency, outage management response time and overall productivity, saving both time and money.<br><br>

"Integrating Telogis Fleet with a leading outage management system offers our utility customers additional levels of visibility and control over their mobile workforce, and increases the value of the location intelligence platform," says Jason Koch, president, Telogis Fleet. &#39;Multispeak certification with Milsoft's DisSPatch solution improves workforce efficiency for utilities and better directs resources to where they are needed most."<br><br>

"The integration with Telogis Fleet empowers our customers to make fast, accurate and critical decisions while in the field to ensure that power is restored as quickly and safely as possible," says Luis Malave, executive vice president and chief technology officer, Milsoft. "Milsoft is passionate about supporting MultiSpeak, as we feel that is the fastest and most cost-efficient way to deliver the value and usefulness of the software solutions that we deliver to our customers."<br><br>

Open Systems International, Inc. (OSI) and Milsoft successfully passed interoperability tests for interfaces between OSI's monarch&#8482; (Multi-platform Open Network ARCHitecture) SCADA and Distribution Management platform and Milsoft's DisSPatch and Windmil products in compliance with MultiSpeak&reg; 3.0 standards. The monarch platform is a modern control system architecture for supporting the monitoring, controlling, scheduling and optimization of complex network operations for the electric, oil & gas, transportation, and water industries.

Milsoft's Outage Management System (OMS), DisSPatch, uses the interface to retrieve breaker operations as well as substation voltages and currents from monarch in order to detect outage events or restorations. Through the interface, the monarch system can also actively detect outages and restorations as they occur and relay those notifications to the DisSPatch OMS in real-time, allowing the location of service interruptions to be more quickly identified and repaired.

Similarly, Milsoft's Windmil product can also retrieve breaker operations, as well as substation voltages and currents, from monarch through the interface to run the Fault Locator utility or (in the case of feeder current data) to run a Load Allocation study.
